Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts opened in 1917. It was patterned after several early Franciscan missions in New Mexico. The Museum displays exhibits and serves as a center for performing arts events. The Museum of International Folk Art, Laboratory of Anthropology and Palace of the Governors are the other units of the Museum of New Mexico in Santa Fe.
