Eagle Nest Lake State Park

This lake is the centerpiece of the Moreno Valley and has been a popular state park since 2004. The area is important to several native tribes, who once lived and hunted here. Eagle Nest Dam was completed in 1918 by Charles and Frank Springer. Now with a capacity of 78,000 acre feet, the lake provides water for irrigation and for nearby communities. .
