Harwich War Memorial

( Memorial is at the intersection of Massachusetts Route 28 and Lower County Road, on the left when traveling east on State Route 28.)

The first American lighthouse was built in Boston Harbor in 1716. The lighthouse was destroyed during the American Revolution and rebuilt in 1783.
