Freedmans Memorial Park Cemetery

Location: Freedman's Memorial park is a well maintained, fully fenced African-American cemetery that is located adjacent to the Emanu-el and Calvary Cemeteries. The unique statuary, reflection pools, and ornate entry arch are notable features at this cemetery. Only two original grave markers, which have been embedded in the base of a central cemetery monument, remain. The cemetery is a protected State Antiquities Landmark (SAL).
