Roughly along Oak, Spring, Bay, Jessamine, Magnolia, Pine & Rock Sts., Island, Cedar & Holly Aves. & Magnolia Spgs. Hyw., Magnolia Springs, ALThe Magnolia Springs Historic District is locally significant under Criterion A in the area of
Entertainment/Recreation for its role as a resort community that, in the late 19th and early to mid 20th
centuries, served both transient visitors as well as part-time and permanent residents who were predominantly
affluent Northerners.
Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
